50 things one might encounter during an exhibition
The work consists of a series of texts – fifty-one slides to be exact – that show various possible things one might encounter when visiting an exhibition. It is a series of observations made of (a part of) exhibitions I’ve seen, artworks I’ve encountered, works from artists around me and some of my own works. The result is a compilation of sentences on contemporary art full of both seriousness and (self-) irony.
The series is presented as a analogue slide-show: another thing one might just encounter when visiting an exhibition, projected onto a wall-like structure that offers a physical counterpart to the fluent slide-show.
Images 1, 2 and 4 where taken at TENT Rotterdam during the exhibition The Museum of Unconditional Surrender.
