The absence of graphite becomes the essence of the drawing (2014)

By leaving certain area’s of the page blank, words are formed and a sentence is visible – a sentence refering to the absence of graphite. Though the blank spaces can be read as the most important part of the drawing, they are only visible because the rest of the space is covered in graphite.
